Sino-Australian Center for Smart Ocean Research

Haide college has set up a joint research center for China Australia smart ocean technology, and plans to set up a China Australia smart Ocean Research Institute in Australia, mainly to carry out joint scientific research in three fields.

In the field of marine scientific research, we have established a marine scientific research platform with James Cook University to carry out physical oceanography, marine biology, marine chemistry and marine drug research; In the field of Antarctic scientific research, the University of Tasmania and others jointly set up Antarctic scientific research platform, mainly carrying out Antarctic climate, Antarctic aquaculture and cold water biology research; In the field of engineering application, we will jointly build an engineering technology R & D platform with the University of Adelaide, mainly carrying out research work in artificial intelligence and big data, ocean engineering and materials engineering.
